Our February Chapter Meeting was held on February 11th at Pickle Palace in Downtown Cedar Rapids. It was a fun night of learning about volunteer opportunities with Junior Achievement, sharing goals, networking, and duckpin bowling!
Representatives from Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa presented about Junior Achievement's mission and impact on young people through programs in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship. They emphasized the crucial role volunteers play in shaping these educational experiences and shared various volunteer opportunities available in the Corridor and Cedar Valley areas. Whether you're interested in a classroom environment, or helping with one-day events like Career Inspire or BizTown, JA offers meaningful opportunities to engage and inspire the next generation.
